Executive Leadership Training
We have developed the Executive and Management Leadership Series (EMLS) for entry-level, middle-management executives, associates or managers of professional service firms who are looking to strengthen their written, verbal and physical communications. EMLS is an intensive two-to-three day workshop, spread out over 3-6 weeks. The series can be formatted for the new associate, middle manager or junior executive who needs to develop stronger communications skills in order to move up the organization ranks, or the senior executive who needs a comprehensive refresher. These workshops offer instruction and critique on a number of communication styles and techniques. Each of our coaching modules is designed with two objectives in mind: To equip participants with the techniques to effectively communicate and to provide tools to increase comfort and confidence when communicating.
At the outset of each session, in addition to conducting its own research, the DJC team meets with executives and managers to determine the communications training needs of their employee(s). Written performance evaluations are also extremely helpful in creating our courses. We also meet face-to-face with the individual to be trained in order to develop a series specifically tailored to that individual’s skill set and training requirements.
We closely monitor and measure progress during each step of the course, which allows us to adequately raise the bar during subsequent sessions in order to maintain a level of constructive challenges. We provide detailed feedback at every stage and offer recommendations on how to sustain continued improvement when returning to work.
